Years ago, our office used to shop for office supplies every month. What they do is make a monthly drive to the shops to buy supplies for the company’s whole month consumption. Their aim is to save time and gas for the trip. Yet somehow, this arrangement posed problems to us, employees, because the consumption of papers, printer’s inks, stamp pad inks, staple wires, folders, brown envelopes and other stuff differs depending on the office’s workload. Thus, sometimes, we ran out of office supplies and often we had to wait for days before the company buys the supplies. Good thing, it is now easier to buy things online. Now our company can shop for supplies online whenever we need things and have them delivered to us as soon as possible.
